as many know I have the dake bible as recommended as one of 3 faves of another lady.
Well I just learned at dake site that he believes the earth was created and then flooded and then adam created...now while I agree with this, I don't agree that II Peter 3:5-6 tells us this
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
if you stopped there, maybe you would think so but the next verse
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
makes me think this is referring to before the flood and after the flood ... after all we all know HE promises to not flood the whole earth and destroy it with water ... we know it's waiting to burn now, getting nice and dried out.
ok ... well that's some of my goal to refute what I don't agree with in the dake bible .... too bad I can't give it away, it has Mrs. DH's name on the front....oy vei
