Leviticus 23:33-38

Leviticus 26:10-12

John 1:14

Read of HIS Birth even in Revelation chapter 12

Of course I want you to understand the truth about this time of year and know there is a right time to and way to Worship.

It's important to note that, throughout history, the holy-days (holidays) a person observed identified them with the God they served. Therefore, as we approach the end of the age and the great end time harvest, G-D (Yahweh) is using His feasts to separate the righteous wheat from the unrighteous tares (Matt. 13:24-30; Rev. 14:14-20). In other words, G-D is calling His people to stop observing the pagan feasts of this world and return to His feasts as a way of setting themselves apart from the end time mystery of babylon (Rev. 18:4).

Sukkot 5771

Seasons Greetings:-)

Wow something just hit me. First you have to read Anna's post for today. Go read about the moon tonight. I'll wait.

Shortly after I read it I realized that it's fall as in the fall of man time and tonight at 10:39 CST is the fall harvest moon....but Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles starts at sundown -- before it's officially fall. What a lovely picture. Safe in HIM before the fall:-)

Looking forward to sweet fellowship with HIM and fellow Believers under the Sukkah (Huppah?!)

Let the Celebration Begin!!!!

Do In Remembrance of Me

Luke 22:18-20 CJB

18 For I tell you that from now on, I will not drink the `fruit of the vine' until the Kingdom of God comes."
19 Also, taking a piece of matzah, he made the b'rakhah, broke it, gave it to them and said, "This is my body, which is being given for you; do this in memory of me."
20 He did the same with the cup after the meal, saying, "This cup is the New Covenant, ratified by my blood, which is being poured out for you.
I Corinthians 5:7-8 CJB

7 Get rid of the old hametz, so that you can be a new batch of dough, because in reality you are unleavened. For our Pesach lamb, the Messiah, has been sacrificed.
8 So let us celebrate the Seder not with leftover hametz, the hametz of wickedness and evil, but with the matzah of purity and truth.

We currently at this very moment are.
Are you?

Yom Kippur 5769

I like what Following the Ancient Paths says about this day:

we can do so without fear and uncertainty that our transgressions will be covered - because they are.

So how do we honor Yom Kippur? Remember that this day is a Shabbat like the weekly Shabbat but is a day of humbling ourselves, self-denial rather than a day to feed ourselves with the best meals of the week. We will do well to remember that this day is not about us, it is about Him. Many choose to fast as a way to afflict oneself as Scripture says, this is very common. As well it is common to abstain from marital relations and anything that would be considered a luxury or a pleasure. What can you do without, what can you deprive yourself of as a form of humbling yourself or self-denial? It goes against the grain for us to humble ourselves, to go against the desires of our flesh. It doesn’t come natural to us and we have to be intentional about self-denial. Yom Kippur is a day to spend in repentant prayer and worship of our Heavenly Father. It is a day to recognize His sovereignty, His place as Righteous Judge, a day to bless HaShem all the more for sending us His Messiah. Yeshua may have very well indeed fulfilled this moed but that makes it all the more significant for His followers. Remember that Yom Kippur is a “permanent regulation throughout all your generations, no matter where you live.” It is for this very reason that we must bow ourselves low in worship of our Maker. We need to constantly learn how to put off our flesh so that we can better learn how to live by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).

May you experience a peaceful Yom Kippur this year.

the customary greeting for this day is:
Gemar Hatimah Tovah or may you finally be sealed for good (in the Book of Life)

To my fellow Believers in Yeshua:
rejoice that your names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Days of Awe

Matthew 5:23-24
23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

If I have offended you in anyway in the past year, I genuinely say I am sorry.
Please forgive me as I also forgive you.

Let us be reconciled and keep I corinthians 1:10 in mind which says:
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our L-RD Yeshua the Messiah, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

10.01.2008

Tashlich

Why do this? Well we can always take time to reboot our relationship with our Messiah and to thank HIM again for HIS forgiveness.
Redeem us Yeshua and sanctify us with your commandments(Torah).

1 John 1

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Yeshua the Messiah.

4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that YHWH is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua the Messiah His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

Tashlich Service from this resource

Each person should have a bag or pocket full
of pebbles. In each person’s mind, the individual
pebbles should represent something to
them that they are seeking God’s forgiveness
for and that they are choosing to abandon.

Go to a body of running water and have a simple
service on the bank.

Read Prov. 1:10—Sin can be attractive, just like
some of the pebbles, and we can be tempted to
hang on to them, just as we see some of the
pebbles we would like to keep! Find an especially
pretty pebble and throw it in the water.
Think about that sin that is especially hard for
you to let go of. Will you choose to cast it
away?

Read Micah 7:19—throw a few pebbles into
the water and watch them disappear.

Read Ps. 103:12—Throw a few more and see
how far you can throw them!

Read Is. 43:25—Can you find the pebble after
it is thrown far out in the water? What will
happen to your sin if you truly repent?

Keep throwing until all your pebbles are gone.
Explain how we must continue in a spirit of
repentance all our lives, until the opportunity
for sin is gone and we are with God.

Pray, asking God to grant each of you true repentance
for the sins you have acknowledged.

Jeremiah 31:31-34
31 Behold, the days come, saith the L-RD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the L-RD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the L-RD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their G-D, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the L-RD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the L-RD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

9.30.2008

Do you hear that?

I think it was 300's AD that the Bible we have was canonized and let's face it Paul was a very smart Rabbi ... so it was deemed his midrashes on the weeks Torah Portions and his answer letters were superb enough to be included in that but Maimonides was also a learned scholar and he said something during this season that has been handed down and I wanted to share it with you:

"Awake, you sleepers, from your sleep!
Rouse yourselves you slumberers, out of
your slumber! Examine your deeds, and
turn to God in repentance. Remember
your Creator, and don’t be like those who
are caught up in the daily round, losing
sight of eternal truth.
Don’t waste your year in vain pursuits
that neither profit nor save. Look closely
at yourselves. Abandon your evil ways
and thoughts, and return to the Lord, so
that He might have mercy on you!”

Now I'd like to quote someone here and you can go read the whole post if'n you want and now that formalities are in place:

Given the nature of prophesy, we know that it's truly only a matter of time that economic systems go bust and we will be ushering in the one world monetary system. You think this little ripple on Wall Street is the main event? Wait until you see the world wide tidal wave of financial disaster spreading across the globe. If you haven't heard the "wake up call" yet, please listen to the alarm sounding today! I don't say these things to scare you (or to some to seem like some Biblical prophesy-crazed kook)- but to remind us that our faith, hope, and trust do not come from financial stability or the power of the dollar. It comes from the Almighty, All-Powerful, All-Knowing, Ever Present God! We cannot serve both God and money. Money is not our provision - HE is the source of all provision.

Even Watchgirl is commenting on the alarm blasts that are being heard during this appointed time of YHWH's

This was not meant as a downer post but just a look how YHWH works among HIS people post because it being Rosh HaShanah and all we are joyous and giving no room for the slanderer to ruin our new year in it's very beginning.

Rosh HaShanah is upon us

Nehemiah 8
1 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
3 And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:
6 And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
7 Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.
8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.
12 And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.
13 And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

I'm getting excited!

Our Days are Numbered

What Are Heavy? by Christina Georgina Rossetti

What are heavy? sea-sand and sorrow:
What are brief? to-day and to-morrow:
What are frail? spring blossoms and youth:
What are deep? the ocean and truth.

Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Psalm 27

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

My Heart's Cry

Luke 18:13
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Philippians 3:7-8
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for the Messiah.
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah Yeshua my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah,

Psalm 51
Have mercy upon me, O Elohim, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O Elohim, thou Elohim of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
O YHWH, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim, thou wilt not despise.
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

A Pure Heart

A pure heart, that’s what I long for.
A heart that follows hard after Thee.
A pure heart, that’s what I long for.
A heart that follows hard after Thee.
A heart that hides Your Word
So that sin will not come in.
A heart that’s undivided,
But one You rule and reign.
A heart that beats compassion
That pleases You my L-RD.
A sweet aroma of worship
That rises to Your throne.

The 7 Feasts of the Lord & The Making of a Baby

by J. R. Church

Zola Levitt discovered an amazing correlation between the Seven Feasts of the L-RD and the gestation of a human baby, from conception to birth. While preparing for writing a book for new parents, Zola contacted a gynecologist for some help in understanding gestation.

During that session, the gynecologist showed him a series of pictures, pointed to the first one (an egg and a sperm) and said, "On the fourteenth day of the first month, the egg appears." The statement struck a chord in his Jewish mind because that was the date of Passover. He remembered the roasted egg on his family table every Passover. Now, for the first time, he knew what it meant! Not wanting to lead the gynecologist off from the subject at hand, but he didn't say anything, but continued to listen.

The gynecologist continued: "The egg must be fertilized within 24 hours, or it will pass on." This reminded Zola of *the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the seed or grain that "fell into the ground and died" in order to produce a harvest, the firstfruits of which was presented to G-D.

Next, the gynecologist said, "Within two to six days, the fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the womb and begins to grow." And, sure enough, the Jewish evangelist thought, "The Feast of Firstfruits is observed anywhere from two to six days after Passover!"

Next, he was shown a photo of an embryo showing arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, a head, eyes, etc. The caption said, "Fifty days." The gynecologist continued, "Around the fiftieth day, the embryo takes on the form of a human being. Until then, we don't know if we have a duck or a tadpole." Zola thought, "That's Pentecost!" ((or Shavuot))

The next picture showed the embryo at seven months. The gynecologist said, "On the first day of the seventh month, the baby's hearing is developed. For the first time, it can hear and distinguish sounds outside the womb." Zola knew that was the date for the Jewish Festival of Trumpets. ((Rosh Hashanah))

The gynecologist continued, "On the tenth day of the seventh month, the hemoglobin of the blood changes from that of the mother, to a "self-sustaining baby." Zola thought, "That's the Day of Atonement, when the blood was taken into the Holy of holies!" ((Yom Kippur))

Next, the gynecologist said, "On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the lungs become fully developed. If born before then, the baby would have had very difficult time breathing." And Zola thought, "That's the festival of Tabernacles, a time of celebrating the Temple, home of the Shekinah glory or Spirit of G-D." In the New Testament, the Greek term "pneuma," normally translated as "breath," is applied to the "Holy Spirit." ((Sukkot))

Birth takes place on the tenth day of the ninth month. Eight days after birth, in Jewish families, a son is circumcised. Zola noted that the eight days of Hanukkah are celebrated right on schedule, nine months and ten days after Passover. ((and no, Yeshua was not born during Hanukkah))

No human being could have understood the gestation period 3,500 years ago. The establishment of the Seven Feasts of the L-RD was given to Moses by the L-RD Himself. Its correlation with the human gestation period is not only remarkable; it proves "Intelligent Design." It proves that there is a Creator G-D Who guides the affairs of man.

More Board Signs

one said: G-D is never too busy for you

the other and my fave this week:

Joy is the by-product of obedience

I've mentioned that before, just obey and joy will be an immediate response and understanding will eventually follow.

Try it this month. Get as much as you can in order and spend time in prayer and daily read Psalms 51 and 27 and then on Rosh Hashanah you too can join in on the celebration.

just obey
