ok so I'm reading a book that many Titus 2 and Created to be his Helpmeet women tout on their weblogs called Holy _ _ _
I'm confused by their interpretation of the Song of Solomon book because according to the Dake Bible this says it's about a gal who is taken from her lover to be a potential lover of Solomon's but she is so lovesick for her betrothed one and has no interest in Solomon and this explaination really makes the most sense ....
So which one is it?
I have a theory that Mr Pearl takes scripture to twist it to suit his purposes. Even in SoS book he says the part where the woman is beaten when she's searching for her man is because she refused his advances or at least didn't "jump on board" in time and that's like a woman being out from under her spouses covering when she "has a headache" or whatever. I can picture him being into that actually taking a paddle to wife's bum if she disobeys like a child needs a spanking mentality or something.
Ok mr pearl I've got news for you. If we are the bride of Messiah and in that reference are to submit ...what are we to submit and obey --- yep Torah .... so when we are not within the bounds of Torah when we say the letter of the law kills ((actually it's only death to those who don't obey or violate the law)) and we'd rather be under the spirit ... ok the spirit of what? lawlessness? well when you put it that way no one wants to be lawless....so if we want to remain under our Messiah's covering we best submit to HIS Torah.
II Corinthians 3:6
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth ((violators)), but the spirit (( reason for and outcome of obeying/walking in Torah)) giveth life.
SoS 5:7
The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.
Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work ((practice)) iniquity ((lawlessness)).
