Since we are currently using Beyond by Heart of Dakota it has a layout that we try to stick with. We always start with prayer and then history since the Bible, Science, Art, and/or Geography lesson will be linked to the history reading. We save poem, 2-3 storybooks, and the 3 R's for last so we can take turns. For us this includes DS doing one of his main "R" subjects and then I read to him back and forth like this til all lessons done.
Just as when we used AmbleSide Year 1 last year, we have no set in stone time each day that we get to home education time. Some days it gets done before noon and others after. It's good to be flexible, a valuable life skill to learn.
Thanks for letting us share our "routine"

sounds like a nice routine!
ours is more structured, yet with lots of breathing room.
Enjoy your year.
