Things Do Line Up

First, have ya ever wondered about the 4 seasons? Anna did a great post 2 days ago on them. Check it out here.

And now for what I titled this post.

I was reading in More Charlotte Mason Education yesterday and on page 20 the author talks about Miss Mason's advice on how we don't have to 'unit study' everything or line/link it up for a child, that they can draw their own connections. She says she's noticed life is just connected that way. "Without planning, one topic (e.g. inventions, discoveries, etc) may surface two or three times a day from a variety of books you're reading from. ... - it's uncanny how random selections will augment teachings from other subjects covered earlier in the day. ... I have grown accustomed to these kind of random choices coming together in a connected way."

Later yesterday we had our home education lesson time and our Bible passage was Genesis 14:17-24 which mentions MelchiZedek. Then last night in Jewish Roots 101 class we discussed Hebrews chapter 7 which links us back to Genesis chapter 14 .... so a connection was made for me yesterday.

And something I read in TorahClass's Levivticus Lesson #11 on twos day night was also repeated in our study of Hebres chapter 7.

Also yesterday I was reading some in a book a friend gave me called To Be A Jew and I'm in the chapter on Kashrut. The connection came this morning as I was on the treadmill and listening to a downloaded message that was talking about Kashrut.

This happens to me a lot, does it to you as well?
