Plan A Timeline in sum- after the detour that came first for both of us

08.12.11 – “I know you.  I’ve always thought you were very beautiful.” (via eharmony)

09.16.11 – watched the movie Defiance

09.18.11 – Worked his route together – song I Am by Mark S.

09.24.11 – met his whole family at his grandma’s 87th birthday party and then went to local town carnival

Rosh Hashanah!!! (he would dream of me dancing afterward)

10.01.11 – Invited me to a wedding and then took me grocery shopping wanting to know what type of food my son and I like to eat (which would start being on hand at his place for my son and I to snack on when we had dinner nights)

10.03.11 -took him to my sisters house for dinner and a walk to meet my family (he told me his goal was to put a ring on my finger)

10.07.11 – went with him to meet the people he ministers to (if he wants me to be his wife I have to know if & how to support him in this area was my thinking)

10.15.11 – hayride

11.17.11  – Rockin’ Worship Road Show (Matt Maher, Mercy Me, Jars of Clay, Disciple, Hawk Nelson… etc)

Thanksgiving 2011 – at his parents’ house

12.04.11 – last David Crowder Band concert (rented a vehicle so we could take a day trip)

12.06.11 – he attended my work xmas party (several people told me he was smitten with  me)

12.07.11 – told me he had a conversation with his dad about marrying me and his dad said it is rare that one finds someone to marry that one’s whole family likes and gave a hearty approval.    he then asked me for my ring size

Enjoyed Hanukkah 2011 together and wanted to store chanukkiahs at his house afterwards saying it was going to be my house soon as well

xmas 2011 with his family and mine  – I bought us amusement park passes and he bought me a sweater dress and took me shopping and he bought my son a skateboard and had an artist decal it

New Years!

Prepped his taxes for him then

01.30.12 – Ring shopping letting me know and others ever since that he knew I was the one for and good for him because I have a relationship with the Lord like no other girl he’s met, that I am already headed in the direction he is (Way of Life), and that I’m faithful

02.09.12 – official proposal after a lovely song and with sweet words – although the story is that he said “so you wanna do this thing or what?” to which other men have said that’s what they asked their wives LOL

We didn't know when to set the date for at first because fiance was wanting someone overseas to be best man and we didn't know when he would be back.  We ended up picking a date and sending the invites and within hours fiance received a call from the hoped for best man and he said he would be state side for a visit - so lovely how it all worked out

03.15.12 – egress window installed and construction on my son’s bedroom at my fiance’s house begun

04.15.12 – couples shower thrown for us by his/our singles group

04.20.12 – Rehearsal

04.21.12 – Mr & Mrs

of course this is just a summary … many more good times in between and since …
