Save-A-Lot Part 2

Again...grocery budget tight for the next 2 weeks...so went to save-a-lot with the mindset that if they didn't have it, it would be left out or substituted in a recipe. I had about $80 tops I wanted to spend. You will notice we didn't by toilet paper....that's because we were blessed with some charmin last night...it's not the usual brand we buy (Angel Soft, thanks to Running2theCross for the 411) but hey, free toilet paper, I'm not complaining!

I will first list those things that were actually on my list, keep in mind some things are for the guys, not necessarily something I eat.

Oh and I couldn't find black olives, even with the taco like stuff....hmmm...but I did spot the powdered milk.....which I don't think my family is ready to drink at this time.

a bit more than I wanted to spend...but hopefully this will last thru the 15th or later for when DH gets paid again and we can go shopping again.

You can see this week's, well starting from today thru mid-next week's menu....and then just wait til next week, when the menu planning will get creative....one week feast, the next famine....LOL
