A Day

HeAdNoTE: someone attacked my character regarding my entry for the CM Carnival ...she must be "seeker sensitive"....the original lady who started CM Carnival was much more a Truth seeker.

With that being said, I wanted to share the things I've learned in the past 24 hours.

Where to start? Hmmm I'll just dive in.

Did you know at Antioch that the people their who became Believers were all Jews to begin with?

Did you know the word christian is only used 3 times in scripture and it was a condescending term in the beginning?

oh but that's right we try to make everything "christianized"

did you hear the one about the wife who made her DH a pot roast and he asked her why the ends were cut off and she replied that is the way her mom always did it. So the next time they had her mom over they asked her why and she also said because her mom always did it that way. The DH then decided to call up his MIL's mom and ask her and she said, "I don't know why they do it but I cut the ends off because that's the only way I can get it to fit in my roasting pan." ((in other words the daughter and granddaughter did something without questioning))

It's ok to obey your DH even if he tells you to go against G-D? really? I mean I know Sarah went along with Abraham's not mentioning she was his wife and G-D protected them but what about Annanias and Saphrias? If only he'd told the truth about how much he made from the sale he may have been able to keep some but he lied and died and then when they questioned his wife she confirmed the lie because her DH told her to and guess what, she died as well. She wasn't allowed to live because she was just obeying her DH and so he was the only one held responsible. I'll let that grab you wherever it was meant to grab you.

Hebrews 4:12 - For the Torah is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Romans 7:6-7, "But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet."

one commentary I just found says, "It is important to notice that the laws that required external forms, ceremonies, and sacrifices did not give a knowledge of what sin was. Those laws did not tell us what was good or evil. These were temporary laws that were to last for a pre-determined length of time. On the other hand, God's Laws that give a knowledge of good and evil do not change with time. What was a sin in the Old Testament is still a sin in the New Testament. These Laws have not passed away."

I disagree about all the ceremonies being done away with. After all we say we Follow Yeshua, well HE kept the Feasts and therefore so should we. because they are a shadow of things to come...are not were.

II Corinthians 3:6, "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life."

Letter is death to violators of the law but the spirit is life to those who love the law. Always about seperating the sheep and the goats.

Last night we were talking about how the Canaanites had 4 generations of a righteous people in their midst and yet they still rejected....the Egyptians also had 4 generations or so and eventually rejected and cruelly treated them.

My thought was ok our country is roughly 400 years old ... the pilgrims kept acting like they were entering the promised land and comparing themselves to the Israelites taking Canaan....so if we were founded on Judeo-christian principles ...when did we lose the Judeo part ... how many generations of rejection has it been?

All governments have fallen...none will last except the one Messiah establishes when HE reigns...even though ours was founded on Isaiah 33:22 - For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

3 branches based on these 3 attributes. When one person is in charge and answers to no one ... look out that is not HIS ideal that is from hasatan and there is no stopping such a person.

Also pray for your leaders because hasatan will attack them wanting them to fall and when the leaders fall, the sheep scatter and then they are "sitting ducks"

Someone said some other culture wants our economy to fail and another one said it was brought on us by our own rich think they are in charge crowd. and someone else jokingly said, "yeah but at least it's PC..." LOL

Is our nation headed toward exile?

Have you seen EndGam3?

The answer to 1984 is 1776

I happen to be reading the book 1984 at this time

ETA 9:30pm: DH was watching extreme makeover and the family got their own solar panels and wind things to create electricity and we were talking about if everyone did that we'd put electric companies outta business and DH told me his pastor said today that things aren't going to get better and that we are just going to have to change our ways and use bikes or whatever and I said we commute 30 minutes by car one way...how we gonna do that on a bicycle? and me with a kid ((let alone some of you with more than one kid))? and he said they do it in other countries and China is right behind us and are or soon will be using more fuel and such than we do. I was like really? cuz I was always taught China was a more resourceful country and didn't abuse and use up their natural resources. So does anyone know? I see I have visits from lots of countries...if you speak English, please chime in....I'm curious how things are your way. Are you affected by the fuel prices? Thanks in advanced

And for my fellow Americans as Mr Hannity says, "Drill Here. Drill Now. Pay Less."

there will be more moose born because their mating ground will have a nice, warm pipeline.

and if you're inclined The Savage Manifesto is interesting

So sorry, I misread. Under the last long paragraph about being in a car 30 minutes one way... and me with a kid. I thought it said me with child. Again so sorry.
My prayers are out for you and your family. We know about your journey. I have several friends who are on the same journey. I also know having people tell you that they know how you feel or what you are going through does not help, well maybe a little. Each family's journey is unique. Many Blessings.
I really have enjoyed your blog. You have a great schedule for year one. I know I will be tweaking ours throughout the year, but I needed at least a guideline, especially with the readings.
Thank you for dropping by our blog. I am a newbie with blogging.
I love all the info you have on your sidebars, I find something new each visit. Your blog is inspiring.
