Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Even we moms do this with a child who throws a tantrum or misbehaves. We send them to their room, away from the fun the rest of us are having and let them know that when they can calm down and participate nicely then we will enjoy their company again.
It works for our kids and our Heavenly Father also knows it will work for HIS kids as well. And the anti-spank crowd thinks they invented a new thing.
