Happy Birthday to the best son a mom could ever ask for! ((that's right, don't take it personally but I consider my son the absolute cutest and best boy all around))
Skills acquired this past year:
swim in deep end, dive/jump off diving board, ride waterslides, better penmanship, able to read one page stories at appropriate level, can say HaMotzi and HavDalah blessings, kept a whole years worth of Leviticus 23, and learnt how to fish.
That's quite a year for a young man!
