Some Laws Are Beneficial

Is the Christian allowed to break the "old" covenant or live in disregard to it? Or are we in some way to fulfill it? What is to be our relationship to it?

Mark 12:28-34

Galatians 3:23-28

Matthew 5:17-20

Romans 8:1-4

Although we are under the renewed covenant (Grace) true Christianity does NOT condone an ungodly lifestyle. It does NOT leave us lawless. G-D calls us to be holy even as HE is holy, and gives us the grace with which we can be holy: He gives us the gift of the indwelling Ruach HaKodesh.

Jude verses 3-5

Matthew 23:3-5

Yeshua did give us help and HE is correct in saying His burden is not heavy because He walks beside us as our example, friend, prophet, priest, King, Saviour (etc)...when we follow His example the Torah is the sweet life while trampling the Torah is the real burden.

Matthew 11:29-30
