Aprons? I have one my Nanna made me that I will wear if I have something on I don't want grease or other hard to wash out items splattered on.
Baking-Favorite thing to bake? nothing right now. No carb-loaded things for me thanks.
Clothesline -Y/N? Not yet. Apartment dwellers can only hang things to dry inside.
Donuts-Ever made them? Yes, in 10th grade home economics class, with buttermilk biscuit dough in a fry-daddy. Not since then. I like a filled long john or boston creme one from dunkin donuts (a 45 minute drive form me) on occasion but usually eschew doughnuts because not good for me.
Everyday-One homemaking thing you do everyday? Dishes,is the typical answer. It's just DH, DS and me around here so I can go every other day unless did a lot of cooking. For me the chore that has to be done everyday is clean out the litter box, we have 2 cats. When it was just 1, I only had to clean it out every week, but with 2 and even with "multi-cat" litter, they reallly stink the place up. I should toilet train them....HAHAHA!
Freezer-Do you have a separate deep freezer? Again, dwell in an apartment, we have the little freezer on top of our fridge and that is it. So, yeah, I don't buy in bulk. Although when we finally get a house, I would like to have a deep freeze and fill it up.
Garbage Disposal-Y/N? YES!!! Love it. My boys forget to clean off their plates.
Handbook-What is your favorite Homemaking resource? My own.
Ironing-Love it or Hate it? Don't know how and don't want to learn. My DH found a way to iron things like hems and pockets by using my hair straightener.
Junk Drawer-Where is it? More like drawers when apartment dwelling...everything from tools to batteries to various types of tape that belong in a workshop area.
Kitchen-Design and decorating? Here at the apartment, it's a greyish ceramic tile floor and brown cabinets/brown marbley tops...but when I get my own place...I'd like black appliances -white stains and I loathe bleach- white cabinets and some blue to go with a Noah's Ark theme.
Love-What is your favorite part of homemaking? Having a home to keep.
Mop-Y/N? I have one of those kind that uses a washable clothpad...I spray cleaner on the floor and wipe it up with that and/or do spot cleaning on hands and knees.
Nylons-can't stand pantyhose...will wear knee highs and trouser socks.
Oven-Do you use the window or open it to check? I would prefer to use the window, but our apartment stove has a solid oven door.
Pizza-What do you put on yours? Currently homemade with ground turkey, mozzerrella and sauce. The crust, dairy, and matoes need to be cut from my diet, so pizza will be a rarity around here starting next week!
Quiet-What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment? rest or read.
Recipe Card Box-Y/N? I have recipes in my binder and in cookbooks. I leave it on the table to keep from spilling things on it if I need to see it while cooking. I hope to memorize what I make so don't need to read the directions all the time.
Style Of House / What style is your house? We rent an apartment. I would like a home in either a small town or at least not in the suburbs or city. More country like but not boonies since DH is not thrilled with that idea. I would like some land for a garden and for a 4-wheeler.
Tablecloths and napkins-Disposable at this point and only for special occasions. I have gotten in the habit of using dish towels as napkins because when DH and I first married and lived with his mom, she rarely bought paper towels so if you made a mess at the table on your hands/face, you just used the dish towel.
Under the sink - Kitchen - trashbags, cat food, non-toxic cleaners
bathroom - unopened personal care products, bath toys, disposable cloth type
items, non-toxic cleaners.
Vacuum-How many times a week? 1-2 times
Wash - How many loads do you do a week? Goal is one per day. Maybe 4 out of 6 days do I meet that goal...oops.
X's-Do you keep a list of things to do and check them off? Only if I have a lot to remember.
Yard-Who does what? We have no yard to care for. I used to think when we get one, DH would mow and weedeat, but now that he has an on-call job on top of normal hours, I may have to do it all, or hire out until DS is old enough. In the past, the was pre-pg weight gain, I couldn't lift off the seat to change gears/blade levels w/o coming enough off the seat that I turned a riding mower off since the battery connection was under the seat. Push mower ok but gas explodes and I want an electric one...or just and old fashioned push to cut no motor type...
ZZZ-What is your last homemaking task for the day? start dishwasher and make sure all doors locked, thermometer temperature is just right, and turn any unneeded electrical appliances off.
There you have it. My home in a nutshell. Or my version of the ABC's of Homemaking! Thanks, Heather!

Thanks for joining me! I enjoyed reading yours, boy I remember what renting an apartment was like too! We still rent, but it is a house (thankfully not a row home).
I really enjoyed it myself! And I finally put your link on my blog (and it is already over at HSB--heatherslittlehearts).
Blessings!
Heather
