We have enjoyed the Gotta have God devotions for boys as well. I also have used 100 Easy Lessons for teaching all mine to read so far. I add a bunch of games and Ive made reading sheets with the words that they have learned so that they can read them over and over again. I also make bingo sheets with the sounds they have learned. Etc, anything to make it more exciting and fun, because according to my oldest "mom , this is really boring" ;-)
And....nope, NE Texas; Sigh! Wish I were closer!
